Our first home…

For the past few weeks we have been trying to find a good place to rent to call home *Yes… staying in the hostel is seriously no picnic… I can’t even fall sick and take MC in peace without having someone knocking on my door just to check if I’m really sick!*. Istinah *my wife* stumbled across some paper with numbers on it and words “Room/Units for Rent” or something like that on her way to work at SIC… tore a piece and gave me the number via MSN… I then passed the number to Wilson *my husband* who then called and made a bunch of arrangements for viewing, after having agents quarrelling with one another… viola! We finally found the perfect home!
The place is located quite conveniently near amenities (hawkers, 7-11, a couple of mini marts, a few sensei shops, alot of hair salons, a massage parlour *i have a feeling there are alot of tai-tais living around here… haha* and a nice little restaurant) right downstairs, about 4 minutes walk to Lorong Chuan MRT, about 10 minutes walk to Serangoon MRT and the brand new mall which has a ColdStorage, Courts, Cinema, etc…
The house itself isn’t fancy or anything… a nice little 2 bedroom flat *one for us… one for mummy!* We have just shifted all of my stuff over the weekend… Thanks Istinah and Hans! Also thank you Neeti! You’ve all been a great help! Of course thanks to sayang for helping me move most of it last Saturday in two taxi trips and a nice outing at ikea choosing a cute little sofabed for Fazreen *if mummy comes over with her while Wilson is around* hmm… complex…
Next on the to do list… Get a better paying job! Muah aH ahaH aHaH aH aHa HA HA aha!

Okay... Here's something out of character *yes it is out of character because I normally wouldn't post photos online let alone a video of yours truly* ... I woke up this morning... An update? OMG... The world must be ending soon!

Hahaha... naaahh... Just kidding... It's 2.26 am now... Can't really sleep so thought I'd just compose a quick update just to tickle you guys abit. Guess what? I have finally finished studying!!! Woo hoo!!! Yes... I know it took me sOOooOOoOOoo darn long just to get a degree... *I like to take things and do things in my own time... so sue me* Akak (my sis) welcomed me to the 2-2 club when she got the news... Not bad huh? I really thought that I was going to fail the whole thing or the most a 3rd Class... It's not that I'm dumb... It's just that I'm so darn lazy! Well... That's what I always hear teachers/lecturers say to me growing up anyway... *I still remember my class teacher say to me in form 5 "Mas, awak dapat SAP pun cikgu bangga." (SAP is "Barely Pass" Grade for SPM at the time which is aggregate 45 and above)* Yes I know it took me hmm... let me count... 8 years to get myself a degree! OMG! Hahaha! has it been that long? "Come See!" What the... What am I? A freak show?

My mum took me to see the eye doctor today... It is abit overdue... about 20 years? Why you ask? Well... we are born with two eyes... when we first get our visions our brain is teaching us how to use the eyes... that's why some infants eyes seemed abit misaligned that's because they are still adjusting... Unfortunately for me... my brain decided to take a short cut... instead of aligning the two eyes to work as one... it decided to just use one at a time... This had made my eyes abit independant... While I see an object with my left eye... my right eye decides to go see something else... The doctor was having fun pointing this out to me... of course I couldn't see it for myself so... Come see... look... see how the eye tries to realign everytime I close different eyes? And this is when my mum and two intern nurses went forward to see me "perform"... What the *toooooot* ... Anyway... after all the laughing and "come do it again" she sent us off to an opth...
