Lazy Sunday…

Image
There isn’t really much to write today… Just a few accounts of what I’d like to share… Yesterday the people at the office gave us all an ‘off’ day… Celebrating some sort of achievement… So what did we do? Liah planned some sort of photo shoot that involved watercolour in a public park… *Hahaha… Liah is a photographer and thought that taking photos of a couple and some kids with their mum sounded like a great idea… So we became one of the victims!* We were told to dress in white… So Wilson and I went to the new NEX MALL just 10 minutes from our house to find some cheap white shirts to wear *obviously watercolour did not seem to sound clean* … We thought of walking around the new mall but it seemed as though we only managed to view 1% of the whole place! It’s super huge! Anyways… getting our shirts from Giordano at 7 dollars a piece and grabbing lunch at the Broasters Chicken or something… we then made our way to the scene… I will share more of this with you when the pictures are done!

Thank you Mummy, Aunty Su & Fazreen!

Last weekend was quite a hectic one… It started early when I woke up light-headed and dizzy on Friday and found myself with high blood pressure… 150/100… The doc gave me 2 days MC to rest up and bring it down not before scolding me. *sheesh* I’m supposed to come back and see him to check it again… *bleh…* Mummy, Aunty Su and Fazreen drove down from KL on Thursday to visit our new home for the weekend and bring down more my stuff… We had a fun dinner at East Coast Food Village with Istinah and Hans… Chicken Wings, Kerang and Sambal Stingray! Yum!!! So the whole of Friday… Mummy and Fazreen went off for a meeting while Aunty Su went shopping… I spent the whole day lazing around and resting while trying to clear up the mess we made unloading the car which was filled with a quarter of my room back in KL. Mostly beddings, scrap stuff and electronics… I got my Taylor, TV and Wii!!! Yeay! The night itself Sayang came and went to treat us good Japanese BBQ Wagyu dinner… Thank you Sayang!

Double Date with Husband & Wife! Haha…

Looks like I’ll be writing more on this blog… Seems like I have the knack of writing more when I’m in a comfy zone… *My new home! Woohoo!* Maybe it’s because I’m more bored… We’ll see hehe… Yesterday Istinah and I were literally watching the clock as time passes while we were at work… Not because there’s no work… But both of us were excited about our nicely planned outing for the night! *hahaha* … It wasn’t anything much of a plan… Just a nice night of super good food and a movie… As the clock struck 7pm on the dot… Hans and Istinah made her way to pick me up from work to get ourselves a generous takeaway of “Tulang Kambing” (mutton bones) and “Air Tebu” (sugarcane drink). Wilson was already on his way home as I asked him to get us a loaf of white bread… *Istinah and I had an argument on what is loaf in malay… sebantal vs sebuku… google says both is correct… cheh! hahaha* Once we were all back home… we feasted on the best ever tulang kambing I have ever had! It was kinda weird for

Our first home…

For the past few weeks we have been trying to find a good place to rent to call home *Yes… staying in the hostel is seriously no picnic… I can’t even fall sick and take MC in peace without having someone knocking on my door just to check if I’m really sick!* . Istinah *my wife* stumbled across some paper with numbers on it and words “Room/Units for Rent” or something like that on her way to work at SIC… tore a piece and gave me the number via MSN… I then passed the number to Wilson *my husband* who then called and made a bunch of arrangements for viewing, after having agents quarrelling with one another… viola! We finally found the perfect home! The place is located quite conveniently near amenities (hawkers, 7-11, a couple of mini marts, a few sensei shops, alot of hair salons, a massage parlour *i have a feeling there are alot of tai-tais living around here… haha* and a nice little restaurant) right downstairs, about 4 minutes walk to Lorong Chuan MRT, about 10 minutes walk to S
