STAR WARS: 2nd Attempt = YEAY!!!
Woke up at 8 today... Check on my okkars *something only my RO guild members would know about*... Got ready for my second attempt at purchasing Star Wars III Movie tickets!!! Okay... so the counter man said that we had to be there at 10am when they open to acquire the tickets... He didn't tell us about the queue... *kiasu fellow*
We got there at 5 minutes to 10am... *OMG!!! The queue!!!* Okay so it doesn't seem too long... Please bear in mind that this is the queue for the Gold Class Saturday Shows tickets only... There are only 30 seats available in the cinema... and ONLY 5 shows a day... the total amount of tickets available a day is 30 x 5 = 150 seats... The number of tickets a person can purchase is 4... We were panicky and anxious!!!
Hey... Who's that in that cream shirt? IT'S NAZRIN!!! Hahahaha!!! Gave him a call at that very moment... Apparently... he was there at 9am and he still has to queue?!?! *What time did the guys in front came?!?!* After 10 minutes of queue... we stared at those who happily got their tickets... almost all of them bought 4... *omg! omg! omg! not another failed attempt!?* 15 minutes... Nazrin got his tickets... 8 I think... Came to us and said don't worry... still got plenty... *wipe that grin of your face boy!* 20 minutes gone... 6 people up front... that's already 1 cinema worth of tickets... *are we able to get the tickets?!?! *sobs**... 30 minutes passed... We were next...
our first choice was the 11am show... FULLY BOOKED!!! *sobs*... Second choice was the 2.30pm... ONE SEAT LEFT?!?! *double sobs*... Oh crap... I have a prior engagement with friends for dinner on this coming Saturday... How now brown cow? The only seats left available for 8 at the same time was at 5.30...
Oh wow... the tickets was for the back row... all 8 in a row!!! *Click Click Click* Suddenly... 4 of the seats were locked!!! The guy in the next counter was planning to purchase our seats!!! OH NO!!! *wait wait...* He's on the phone... talking in his native language... *crossing fingers* It was the longest 5 minutes of my life! *abit of an exaggeration here* The people behind the counter was arguing among themselves...
*WOOOT!!!* We got our tickets!!! After checking the tickets and paying RM280... the lady grabbed the microphone...
Wow!!! Talk about luck!!! So there we were... making our way out with 8 tickets... People staring... *sniggering* Sorry lah Jason... I'll be abit late for dinner... Priorities goes to Star Wars!!! See you at 8.30pm instead of 7!!!
