Selamat Hari Raya 2008!

My day started with a loud crash on the eve of Eid... Apparently Umar and Dalya broke some glass... I guess its never a celebration unless there are some glass broken! Adam and Umar came over to give us a hand in exchange for some Wii time...


They helped with the chicken for the soto ayam and pounded the potatoes for the begedil... On top of that... they helped washed our cars! hahahaha... Thanks boys! *after a long day of fasting and a hard day of work... we all just wanted to play with water and kill the time before breaking fast!*

Eid celebrations started the moment we break fast... Adam and I sneaked out for a quick purchase of Wii games and some Big Apple Doughnuts for break fast before that... Umar was left behind for breaking glass... After breaking fast... we waited for Niki and Nikk to play fireworks!


The following morning was Hari Raya! Yeay!!! Niki and Nikk helped fill up cookie jars and arrange the cakes on the tray before our first meal... *how come parents like to throw their kids and I end up having to watch? blehhh... Thank God for the Wii* Uncle Yem and Aunty Ain came over and we had our first meal together...


Then the first wave came... Family members and family friends young and old filled their tummies with mummy's yummy soto ayam and Aunty Ain's lontong with sambal sotong and beef rendang as they filled the house with laughter and joy...

At around 3pm... we finally get to rest our feet... Asrar came and brought his Sony Alpha 300... *which I managed to pry out of him and use it for the rest of the week... yeay! kekekeek* And then came the Second Wave!


Cubinet Colleagues and Ex Assuntarians!!! The house was havoc! *Uncle Yem went like... I don't know any of you... kekekek* When mummy told my colleagues to B.Y.O... they did just that! Waaaaaahahahahahaha! It's just too bad that they didn't stay on till late... they did stay for some Wii action though! LOL!

Ex-Assuntarians!

The long day ended with our KickFit trainers - Dinesh and David, and Fazreen, Azrina and Ucop arriving as our last guests of this year's Hari Raya Open house... Ernie and Ivan were the only ones left *and you all planned to stay till 6am... yeah right!*




The lights finally went off at 2.30am...

Okay... Here's something out of character *yes it is out of character because I normally wouldn't post photos online let alone a video of yours truly* ... I woke up this morning... "Come See!" What the... What am I? A freak show?

My mum took me to see the eye doctor today... It is abit overdue... about 20 years? Why you ask? Well... we are born with two eyes... when we first get our visions our brain is teaching us how to use the eyes... that's why some infants eyes seemed abit misaligned that's because they are still adjusting... Unfortunately for me... my brain decided to take a short cut... instead of aligning the two eyes to work as one... it decided to just use one at a time... This had made my eyes abit independant... While I see an object with my left eye... my right eye decides to go see something else... The doctor was having fun pointing this out to me... of course I couldn't see it for myself so... Come see... look... see how the eye tries to realign everytime I close different eyes? And this is when my mum and two intern nurses went forward to see me "perform"... What the *toooooot* ... Hahaha... naaahh... Just kidding... It's 2.26 am now... Can't really sleep so thought I'd just compose a quick update just to tickle you guys abit. Guess what? I have finally finished studying!!! Woo hoo!!! Yes... I know it took me sOOooOOoOOoo darn long just to get a degree... *I like to take things and do things in my own time... so sue me* Akak (my sis) welcomed me to the 2-2 club when she got the news... Not bad huh? I really thought that I was going to fail the whole thing or the most a 3rd Class... It's not that I'm dumb... It's just that I'm so darn lazy! Well... That's what I always hear teachers/lecturers say to me growing up anyway... *I still remember my class teacher say to me in form 5 "Mas, awak dapat SAP pun cikgu bangga." (SAP is "Barely Pass" Grade for SPM at the time which is aggregate 45 and above)* Yes I know it took me hmm... let me count... 8 years to get myself a degree! OMG! Hahaha! has it been that long?
