Looks like I’ll be writing more on this blog… Seems like I have the knack of writing more when I’m in a comfy zone… *My new home! Woohoo!* Maybe it’s because I’m more bored… We’ll see hehe… Yesterday Istinah and I were literally watching the clock as time passes while we were at work… Not because there’s no work… But both of us were excited about our nicely planned outing for the night! *hahaha* … It wasn’t anything much of a plan… Just a nice night of super good food and a movie… As the clock struck 7pm on the dot… Hans and Istinah made her way to pick me up from work to get ourselves a generous takeaway of “Tulang Kambing” (mutton bones) and “Air Tebu” (sugarcane drink). Wilson was already on his way home as I asked him to get us a loaf of white bread… *Istinah and I had an argument on what is loaf in malay… sebantal vs sebuku… google says both is correct… cheh! hahaha* Once we were all back home… we feasted on the best ever tulang kambing I have ever had! It was all JCard day's fault. We all wanted to avoid the crowd at Midvalley during lunch time yesterday so we decided to try out Alexis at the Gardens side. The service was not too bad at the beginning where we were kindly asked to sit while we wait for our table. But then again, that's typical. Nic, Ernie and Ben had set lunch 2 which was a 3 course meal consisting of tomato soup as starter *which probably was just a bottle of tomato ketchup plunked right into a bowl* , a tomato based pasta puttanesca with olives, capers and anchovies *no sign of anchovies and it was probably quite hard to swallow those olives because we were daring each other to eat them* and supposedly the dessert of the day. Endric on the other hand had the set lunch 1 which was Fishcakes for starters *this was not bad* , Nasi Kerabu with Spicy squid *it was like 3 little cuts of a single squid actually* , 2 tiny little prawns cooked in spices, untouched mango acar thingy, and some keropok. *Endric wa...

Yeay! My favourite month of the year is here! What I love about it? Well... Yummy selection of foods to choose from... A month to forgive and repent... The chore of "What should I eat today?" is downsized to 1 instead of 3... *lol* Many more reasons actually... but can't think of more at the moment because its too early... *hehehe* So... The first day of fasting... couldn't really sleep... was abit excited maybe... managed to get some shut eye around 3am... Mummy brought me back the famous "ayam boblek" from Jogyakarta for sahur *last meal of the day... which is supposed to last the whole day till sunset... but who can eat much so early in the morning?* ... Due to the fact that I overslept during the last first day of fasting... I set my phone alarm to ring not once... but 3 times!!! *hahahaha* ... First ring went off at 4.30am *snooze* ... 4.38am... *snooze* ... 4.46am... *disable alarm* ... Second alarm went off at 5am *snooze* ... And the phone rang at 5...

Once a month I would find myself craving for some Ang Moh food... And this will lead me to TGIF in Subang Parade, Subang Jaya... Yesterday I had my late lunch there... AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED!!! Over the years... the service had been good... the food too... Yesterday... it was total and ultimate blergh! Ok... so what if its not during lunch or dinner period... We went at around 4... That doesn't give an excuse to give us BAD SERVICE?!?! Let me give you a run down of what made me write this entry... NO. 1... We went into the restaurant... there were no smiley host/hostess to take us to our seats... Since we knew where the smoking section is *having to come here ALOT* ... we made our way there... NO. 2... There was a table empty there... It looked as though it was occupied... so we asked if it was... the waiter didn't even know whether it was or not!! What the?!?! He had to ask the bartender?!?!
