Happy New Year!!! Goodbye 2010...

Another year has passed... how time flies it's amazing. I'm older... that sucks... I'm thinking of limiting the exposure of my blog by stopping the imports from facebook. At least I won't feel the limitations of what I might write or post in here anymore. I used to not care. But looking at how crazy and damaging facebook can be, I guess its better. Only those who know me well enough might end up here and read what I have to say out of boredom or curiosity. *hahahaha* So that's my first thing to do for 2011! So now it is time for some reflections... Let's see... The biggest change in my life in 2010 was my environment. A huge change I must say. From the comforts of having the perfect job in the world at Cubinet, I am now in Singapore. Strange people, strange environment, strange job. I feel like an alien exploring another planet sometimes. But nevertheless, I have made some really good friends, be closer than ever to the one I love but with a huge price to pay...

Thank you Mummy, Aunty Su & Fazreen!

Last weekend was quite a hectic one… It started early when I woke up light-headed and dizzy on Friday and found myself with high blood pressure… 150/100… The doc gave me 2 days MC to rest up and bring it down not before scolding me. *sheesh* I’m supposed to come back and see him to check it again… *bleh…* Mummy, Aunty Su and Fazreen drove down from KL on Thursday to visit our new home for the weekend and bring down more my stuff… We had a fun dinner at East Coast Food Village with Istinah and Hans… Chicken Wings, Kerang and Sambal Stingray! Yum!!! So the whole of Friday… Mummy and Fazreen went off for a meeting while Aunty Su went shopping… I spent the whole day lazing around and resting while trying to clear up the mess we made unloading the car which was filled with a quarter of my room back in KL. Mostly beddings, scrap stuff and electronics… I got my Taylor, TV and Wii!!! Yeay! The night itself Sayang came and went to treat us good Japanese BBQ Wagyu dinner… Thank you Sayang!...

Our first home…

For the past few weeks we have been trying to find a good place to rent to call home *Yes… staying in the hostel is seriously no picnic… I can’t even fall sick and take MC in peace without having someone knocking on my door just to check if I’m really sick!* . Istinah *my wife* stumbled across some paper with numbers on it and words “Room/Units for Rent” or something like that on her way to work at SIC… tore a piece and gave me the number via MSN… I then passed the number to Wilson *my husband* who then called and made a bunch of arrangements for viewing, after having agents quarrelling with one another… viola! We finally found the perfect home! The place is located quite conveniently near amenities (hawkers, 7-11, a couple of mini marts, a few sensei shops, alot of hair salons, a massage parlour *i have a feeling there are alot of tai-tais living around here… haha* and a nice little restaurant) right downstairs, about 4 minutes walk to Lorong Chuan MRT, about 10 minutes walk to S...

Thank You 2008

Another year has passed... I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my lucky stars, guardian angels both in forms of people and the spiritual and of course The Almighty for the sugars and spices that seasoned my life yet again in 2008. I survived 2008! Yeay! After 28 years of existing... I have learned that there are only 5 things in life that could make and break you... If you can keep these 5 things in check and in good order... Nothing else in life matters... A simple advise would be... There are only 5 things in life that you should worry about... If the things you are worrying aren't listed in the 5... It is just not worth all the effort... Family ... I could have not have a better mix in the pot which made me... ME! From my mum who accompanied me fasting *even though she didn't have to and didn't since 1994* ... My sis and her family although far away who still manage to give me random boosts of support and surges of inspiration when I need them most *especially...

1st Year Anniversary... w00t!

Today marks my first year anniversary working at Cubinet Interactive (MSC) Sdn Bhd. Wow what a big difference it is today compared to how it was when I first joined... Let's have some flashback moments shall we? I remember the initiation... At the time I was still working back at CiBNet... contemplating about leaving... As I was lost in thought while I browsed through my MSN contacts list, I saw an unfamiliar name in my CiB Colleagues Group... Apparently they accidentally pulled in an EX-colleague of theirs into one of our daily group chats and I went on an adding spree. We never msged each other till that fine day... I casually msged him and asked who he was blablabla... and got to know him and more about CiBNet which made even more convinced that I should leave. A week later I tendered my resignation... LOL... After my last day and two weeks of coaxing later... he finally managed to get my resume from me and scheduled for an interview and I started my new job 2 Mondays later *the...

For My Lost Love...

I'm calm now... After so many years being together... Although I couldn't believe it had happened. Its time to move on... Thank you for everything... I couldn't have asked for more than what you have been giving me for so many years... I'm so sorry for being so blind... If life gives me a second chance to turn back time... I would have done things differently... Please remember... I love you... Always... Now and forever... This song is for you...

Okay... I'll admit... I was so darn lazy to write... *new mid year resolution... write more... hehehehe* So where have I gone to? In 5th March 2007, I started working for CiBNet Station Sdn Bhd. Even though the pay wasn't that yummy, I thought to myself, this is your dream job... You can grow with it. The reason I say it was my dream job was... Working Hours : 10am - 7pm *I can sleep in! Woo hoo!* ... Dress code : Nil *I can wear my jeans and crocs! Yaattaaa!* ... Industry : Online Games *OMG... Could it be any better than this?* Here was where I met a few interesting people. On my first day... I was located to my cubicle. On my right was a wall, on my left was Crono *the office psycho* ... My first task? "Here... install these games and learn them"... *I'm in heaven* Okay... they weren't the best games I have ever played... but a game is a game! Now why did I call Crono a psycho? Well after a few days knowing this loud-mouthed, vulgar and destructive individu...

Tak Ngantuk Pun?... ZzzZZzzZZzzZz

Woke up at 6am today... hit the a button on my mobile and went back to sleep... Luckily I set it to ring again at 6.10am and again at 6.15! hahaha... *always have backups* Why am I up so early you ask? *ye laaa... mas mana reti bangun awal... cheh* This my fren... is because I FINALLY went for the eye surgery to correct my funny eyes! woo hoo! *no I am not high on morphine =P* Since I'm still in pain and so damn bored... I thought I'd update you all about my experience on this... kekeke... *kelakar I tell you* ... Halimy came late... mummy got upset... so we went ahead first... *my mum probably abit more anxious than I am to get it over and done with* My mum selamba jer parked at my aunt's parking space... and up we went to register... I plugged my ears with iPod and lis...

"Come See!" What the... What am I? A freak show?

My mum took me to see the eye doctor today... It is abit overdue... about 20 years? Why you ask? Well... we are born with two eyes... when we first get our visions our brain is teaching us how to use the eyes... that's why some infants eyes seemed abit misaligned that's because they are still adjusting... Unfortunately for me... my brain decided to take a short cut... instead of aligning the two eyes to work as one... it decided to just use one at a time... This had made my eyes abit independant... While I see an object with my left eye... my right eye decides to go see something else... The doctor was having fun pointing this out to me... of course I couldn't see it for myself so... Come see... look... see how the eye tries to realign everytime I close different eyes? And this is when my mum and two intern nurses went forward to see me "perform"... What the *toooooot* ... Anyway... after all the laughing and "come do it again" she sent us off to an opth...

A NICE EXCUSE FOR NOT UPDATING...

I'm still alive fellow blog-hoppers... hahaha... *apparently barely...* It had been a hectic month for me... Being self-employed full-time and a part-time final year student is really no joke... Deadlines were back to back... Assignments, Projects, Presentations, Tests and the 2pig Midpoint Interview... *And that's only in Student Mode!* Have been sleeping in the office for more than 2 weeks now... For the whole of the 2 weeks... I haven't been able to see my mom, my bed, my cats! *let alone watch some tv!!!* For those who are planning to start a company and study part-time at the same time... Please find out your medical history before doing so... I thought I was invincible... I rarely got sick... and when I do... I recover almost close to Superman... *not the man part... but the super* ... Then after all the deadlines were met and what's left was a couple of exams at the end of the week... I was feeling drained, dizzy, agitated, close to tears most of the times... I...
