The Crazy Monkey

This year's new year countdown was kinda sad... We were both on our way home from South Africa and was probably somewhere around the indian ocean... So all we had was a notice on the on screen display where we get to watch movies on that said "It is now midnight in Kuala Lumpur. Happy New Year!"... And that was it... How sad... So to end this post... This year's new year's resolution is to make no new year's resolution! Yay! Let's see if this approach works... Apparently this is one way of trying to reverse psycho myself. Ok... That's all... Happy New Year!!!

Last weekend was quite a hectic one… It started early when I woke up light-headed and dizzy on Friday and found myself with high blood pressure… 150/100… The doc gave me 2 days MC to rest up and bring it down not before scolding me. *sheesh* I’m supposed to come back and see him to check it again… *bleh…* Mummy, Aunty Su and Fazreen drove down from KL on Thursday to visit our new home for the weekend and bring down more my stuff… We had a fun dinner at East Coast Food Village with Istinah and Hans… Chicken Wings, Kerang and Sambal Stingray! Yum!!! So the whole of Friday… Mummy and Fazreen went off for a meeting while Aunty Su went shopping… I spent the whole day lazing around and resting while trying to clear up the mess we made unloading the car which was filled with a quarter of my room back in KL. Mostly beddings, scrap stuff and electronics… I got my Taylor, TV and Wii!!! Yeay! The night itself Sayang came and went to treat us good Japanese BBQ Wagyu dinner… Thank you Sayang!...

My beloved cat passed away peacefully in my mother's arms this evening. It was a tough call but she was suffering and in constant pain that the Vet advised us to put her to sleep. At 6pm today, she died at the age of 16. Avalanche was born with 3 other siblings - Snowball, Chubby and Zazu. Her mum was Cleopatra, daughter of my beloved Cookie Chomper a grey coloured mixed persian + siamese and Mischeif - my sister's cat who was a black and white Maine Coon. Yes, Cleopatra was quite the slut back then as this litter of kittens seem to have had 2 different fathers. I was 13 when Avalanche was born, she was named because she caused an avalanche of CDs, toys and books which were nicely stacked on my sister's table while she was still an unnamed kitten. She used to sleep on my back while I was busy preparing for my PMR (Secondary 3) exams. When I became too engrossed in my book, she would sit on the pages and demanded for some attention. Another year has passed... I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my lucky stars, guardian angels both in forms of people and the spiritual and of course The Almighty for the sugars and spices that seasoned my life yet again in 2008. My day started with a loud crash on the eve of Eid... Apparently Umar and Dalya broke some glass... I guess its never a celebration unless there are some glass broken! Today marks my first year anniversary working at Cubinet Interactive (MSC) Sdn Bhd. Wow what a big difference it is today compared to how it was when I first joined... This photo was taken at Aunty Jim's house. We were all there last night waiting for fireworks show as the view was overlooking the skyline horizon of the whole of KL... Unfortunately, KLCC was a big dissapointment as nothing was displayed in that area. We could see somewhere over the horizon near PJ/Shah Alam area having a big show which lasted more than 15 minutes! But this photo was taken near Jusco in Melati area there. I guess the Japanese who were having their own entry for the Merdeka Fireworks competition at Putrajaya had lots of extra fireworks... so we get to see some here... *Hihihihihi* While waiting, mummy and Nazrin's in-laws ++ had a blast playing mahjong while a second table was opened for pokuat (dead rummy)... Okay... I'll admit... I was so darn lazy to write... *new mid year resolution... write more... hehehehe* So where have I gone to? In 5th March 2007, I started working for CiBNet Station Sdn Bhd. Even though the pay wasn't that yummy, I thought to myself, this is your dream job... You can grow with it. The reason I say it was my dream job was... Working Hours : 10am - 7pm *I can sleep in!
