This year's new year countdown was kinda sad... We were both on our way home from South Africa and was probably somewhere around the indian ocean... So all we had was a notice on the on screen display where we get to watch movies on that said "It is now midnight in Kuala Lumpur. Happy New Year!"... And that was it... How sad... So to end this post... This year's new year's resolution is to make no new year's resolution! Yay! Let's see if this approach works... Apparently this is one way of trying to reverse psycho myself. Ok... That's all... Happy New Year!!!

Another year has passed... how time flies it's amazing. I'm older... that sucks... I'm thinking of limiting the exposure of my blog by stopping the imports from facebook. At least I won't feel the limitations of what I might write or post in here anymore. I used to not care. But looking at how crazy and damaging facebook can be, I guess its better. Only those who know me well enough might end up here and read what I have to say out of boredom or curiosity. *hahahaha* So that's my first thing to do for 2011! So now it is time for some reflections... Let's see... The biggest change in my life in 2010 was my environment. A huge change I must say. From the comforts of having the perfect job in the world at Cubinet, I am now in Singapore. Strange people, strange environment, strange job. I feel like an alien exploring another planet sometimes. But nevertheless, I have made some really good friends, be closer than ever to the one I love but with a huge price to pay...

My day started with a loud crash on the eve of Eid... Apparently Umar and Dalya broke some glass... I guess its never a celebration unless there are some glass broken! Adam and Umar came over to give us a hand in exchange for some Wii time... They helped with the chicken for the soto ayam and pounded the potatoes for the begedil... On top of that... they helped washed our cars! hahahaha... Today marks my first year anniversary working at Cubinet Interactive (MSC) Sdn Bhd. Wow what a big difference it is today compared to how it was when I first joined... Let's have some flashback moments shall we? I remember the initiation... At the time I was still working back at CiBNet... contemplating about leaving... As I was lost in thought while I browsed through my MSN contacts list, I saw an unfamiliar name in my CiB Colleagues Group... Apparently they accidentally pulled in an EX-colleague of theirs into one of our daily group chats and I went on an adding spree. We never msged each other till that fine day... I casually msged him and asked who he was blablabla... and got to know him and more about CiBNet which made even more convinced that I should leave. A week later I tendered my resignation... LOL... After my last day and two weeks of coaxing later... he finally managed to get my resume from me and scheduled for an interview and I started my new job 2 Mondays later *the...

This morning I woke up unaware of what is going on with the rest of the world *as usual... because I stopped reading the newspaper as well as watch the news... its either too depressing or filled with a shit load of crap... pardon me french today... or any other day LOL* As I started my engine to get to work, tuned into Hitz.fm... On came the traffic reports... To my horror... ALL the routes that is possible for me to get to work was either blocked by some police, closed or crawling almost at a standstill... the reporter kept repeating... FORGET ABOUT TAKING THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY... there were 2 police barriers ON FEDERAL HIGHWAY ITSELF... WTF!!! *ok... don't panic... pick up Franky first...* Went to " kutip " Franky by the roadside... tried to turn on my stupid GPS on my TyTNII which seem to not work every time there's an emergency... I calculated that the only route that is probably still safe was the Old Klang Road... As we made our way towards our initial plan... ...

Yet another year has passed... I'm getting old... Dang! Started out with a monkey and a card... The next morning... Azrina surprised me by showing up at my door with an orchid plant! *Thanks so much gal! Although it took me quite awhile to realise it was you... too early la... hahahaha* They took me for a dimsum lunch at Subang Parade... Had desserts at "The dessert's bar" *a cozy place with homemade ice-cream yum!* Ucop joined us and we went to the arcade to play... *hahahaha... I'll never be too old to play!* ... Finished Time Crisis 2... Lost in Daytona *because the chair keeps making me slide down how to drive?* ... We finished the last of the tokens shooting hoops *That was a really addictive game... Luckily our arms felt like it was about to come off or else...* We then went back to get ready for dinner... Azrina and Ucop couldn't join us... That's where the "Tugu Negara", Bird Park and not too far the Parliment building is located too MYRA! *children nowadays* It all began when last year my dear friend Deen attended the same run... I guess she made me promise to join her for the next which happened to be yesterday... So here's the full detailed story of what happened... 5.30am - Wake Halimy to come pick and send me... *we got him the shirt but he didn't want to join... so too bad... he has to send me* 6.00am - Got myself a 30min extended sleep and woke up myself. *daaang... its too early to be awake on a SUNDAY! wargh!* 6.30am - All dressed in a gory looking T-Shirt of the event and chucked all the equipment into the car... This photo was taken at Aunty Jim's house. We were all there last night waiting for fireworks show as the view was overlooking the skyline horizon of the whole of KL... Unfortunately, KLCC was a big dissapointment as nothing was displayed in that area. We could see somewhere over the horizon near PJ/Shah Alam area having a big show which lasted more than 15 minutes! But this photo was taken near Jusco in Melati area there. I guess the Japanese who were having their own entry for the Merdeka Fireworks competition at Putrajaya had lots of extra fireworks... so we get to see some here... *Hihihihihi* While waiting, mummy and Nazrin's in-laws ++ had a blast playing mahjong while a second table was opened for pokuat (dead rummy)... Today was the day Nazrin and Jennifer finally made their vows... Wishing them all the best in their future undertakings together... And hope you make lotsa lotsa mini Nazrins and Jennifers! CONGRATS!!!

Last night was Mercy Malaysia 's Annual Fundraising Dinner. Mummy, Halimy, Bobby, his wife, Ellen, Nazrin, Jennifer, Lee John, his girlfriend and I filled a table purchased by Selatan this year. *if it wasn't for my dear Auntie Jim, knowing me, I would have avoided such events due to the fact that its dress code being formal hehehehe* Dressing up for the event, I finally got to wear my white kaftan looking baju kurung which was made for last two year's Eid *LOL* .
