I have not updated anything about what I'm up to. I'm now no longer working for Stansfield College as their Software Engineer. I'm still in Singapore though. Doing something I kinda enjoy compared to when I was at Stansfield. Web Applications Development. Yay for me! Unfortunately, I still feel that I am underpaid and overworked. Gonna stick around for a bit before I start looking for something that can actually make me say... I'm doing what I love and get paid well for it! I miss Cubinet... but then again... It was all JCard day's fault. We all wanted to avoid the crowd at Midvalley during lunch time yesterday so we decided to try out Alexis at the Gardens side. The service was not too bad at the beginning where we were kindly asked to sit while we wait for our table. But then again, that's typical. Nic, Ernie and Ben had set lunch 2 which was a 3 course meal consisting of tomato soup as starter *which probably was just a bottle of tomato ketchup plunked right into a bowl* , a tomato based pasta puttanesca with olives, capers and anchovies *no sign of anchovies and it was probably quite hard to swallow those olives because we were daring each other to eat them* and supposedly the dessert of the day. This morning I woke up unaware of what is going on with the rest of the world *as usual... because I stopped reading the newspaper as well as watch the news... its either too depressing or filled with a shit load of crap... pardon me french today... or any other day LOL* As I started my engine to get to work, tuned into Hitz.fm... On came the traffic reports... To my horror... ALL the routes that is possible for me to get to work was either blocked by some police, closed or crawling almost at a standstill... the reporter kept repeating... FORGET ABOUT TAKING THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY... there were 2 police barriers ON FEDERAL HIGHWAY ITSELF... WTF!!! *ok... don't panic... pick up Franky first...* Went to " kutip " Franky by the roadside... tried to turn on my stupid GPS on my TyTNII which seem to not work every time there's an emergency... I calculated that the only route that is probably still safe was the Old Klang Road... As we made our way towards our initial plan... ...

Hmm... after re-reading my last post I just noticed how fugly the colour combination was... Please forgive me as I was only using one eye and the effects of the general anaesthetics were clouding my judgement on colours thus making me truly colourblind... Enough of that... I have now the full use of both my eyes... *yeay!* Well... almost at least... Okay... so sorry long time never post... hehehe... Actually nothing much has happened since the last entry... Let's see what have I done for the past week... last, last weekend Wesak day i think... I spent some time with Azrina K. and Fazreen F... Well... how do I ignore 15 missed calls? hehe... Sorry girls... They showed up at my door and dragged me out for lunch at T.G.I.F., talked for hours about life and relationships and had a karaoke session at the Curve... That following Sunday mummy wanted to watch a movie so we went to 1Utama to watch Poseidon... Last weekend mummy wanted to watch Da Vinci Code... We couldn't get tickets so we watched it on Monday instead... That's all that's worth mentioning I suppose... which isn't much either... hahaha... Now... why I want to learn mandarin... I wanted to learn a new language for so long already... At first I wanted to learn Korean because of all the Korean soaps that I've been watching I thought that it would be bet...

ARGH!!! I was vaccuming the house yesterday with the brand new steam vaccum from OSIM. I guess from the exhaustion of all the work, I wasn't being careful... They weren't kidding when they said it was 120 degrees steam. There I was idly vaccuming each cushion of the living room's upholstery when suddenly... the suction grasp the skin on my right thigh and steamed it as well!!! My reflexes were down so it took me awhile to realise what was happening until I felt the pain... DANG!!! So lesson learnt... Always be alert while vaccuming with a steam vaccum. For now the house is fully steam vaccumed... Fleas are supposed to get themselves killed at the temperature of 40 degrees... if 120 degress don't kill them... I don't know what will! I should get my cats from the vet's soon... Hopefully the remaining flea survivors will try to get their hands on my flea treated cats and get themselves killed in the process... Whole body is aching... Now I'm going to just lie b...

The house is infested with cat fleas!!! ARGH!!! At first I thought it was only mosquito bites... Then today... "What's this?" I grabbed one flea trying to figure out what it was and it jumped off me and disappeared!!! WARGH!!! This is the second time my house gets overpopulated by this hardy pesky pests!!! The first was in our Kelana Jaya house and it was so bad that it made my mum cry and we had to call the exterminator and bomb the whole house with insectiside!!! *Ok... I should get a hold of myself... Don't panic...* Yes of course... The first thing that came to mind was... GOOGLE IT!!!... And that's what I did... [search] How to get rid of fleas [endsearch] This is what I found out... Treat the cats Wash all beddings and cushion covers with really hot water Vaccum the whole house and use hot steam to kill the eggs and larvaes... When we first opened up the cyber cafe... the only affordable yet high speed internet connection available for the area was ISDN... Although we are charged by the minute... we were still contented... Now the cafe was shipped to Kerteh, Terengganu and the internet connection is the high speed broadband of ADSL... *we were like waaaahhhhh* Today... the office is equipped with an ADSL line *which is still based in Shah Alam same lot as the initial cyber cafe* ... Here comes my frustrations... I want to build a server which will host the companies's web and email as well as the web of my final year project... In order to have a sound web server which will be working 24/7... I need an SDSL line with a fixed IP... *still dreaming of it* The problem... First... I registered to set it up at home... Once a month I would find myself craving for some Ang Moh food... And this will lead me to TGIF in Subang Parade, Subang Jaya... Yesterday I had my late lunch there... AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED!!! Over the years... the service had been good... the food too... Yesterday... it was total and ultimate blergh! Ok... so what if its not during lunch or dinner period... We went at around 4... That doesn't give an excuse to give us BAD SERVICE?!?! Let me give you a run down of what made me write this entry... NO. 1... We went into the restaurant... there were no smiley host/hostess to take us to our seats... Since we knew where the smoking section is *having to come here ALOT* ... we made our way there... NO. 2... There was a table empty there... It looked as though it was occupied... so we asked if it was... the waiter didn't even know whether it was or not!! What the?!?! He had to ask the bartender?!?! NO. 3... It took about 10 mins before we even got the MENU! No. 4... It took about ano...

Yesterday... My mom made me go to the hospital to draw blood for the bloodwork required by the Cardiologist... crap! As usual... it wasn't an easy task! *must be because of the fats i'm storing for hibernation* ... The first poke... wasn't painful... but the next thing he did was!!! Imagine putting a straw in a can, and moving it around trying to slurp the last drops... now imagine the straw was the needle trying to find a vein. *damn!* Anyways... after poking around... invain... he decided to poke else where!!! 2004 is coming to an end... As I browse through the list of last year's "New Year's Resolutions" I have realised that I have not accomplished ANYTHING in the year 2004. Hence, the moment of this great depression is seeping through. Am I a failure? Had the year 2004 amounted to nothing? What have I done to better myself? What have I been doing? *am i really this pathetic?* What on earth is the matter with me? Am I doing things wrong? Oh well, year ends always make me feel this way... According to the chinese calendar, two monkey years have past. I now feel old. Have I really aged? I still play games, I still pull pranks and I still bully my sister *even though she is actually older* . Playing RO makes me feel even older...
